Network Deployment

  • Facilitate completion of final lease and forward to client for execution.
Land Use Planning Services:
  • Provide zoning evaluation for each site's permitting process, jurisdictional regulations, permitting timelines, neighborhood restrictions and any environmental restrictions.
  • Begin land use permit process for primary site.
  • Interface with planning staff as required.
  • Attend planning hearings, reviews and city meetings.
  • Coordinate the completion of all required conditions of approval dictated by the permit approval process.
Construction Management:
  • Attend on site feasibility meetings with project personnel.
  • Coordinate with architect to manage drawing package progress and schedule.
  • Prepare and review bid packages of approved general contractors.
  • Assist in obtaining building permits and any other approvals required by the local jurisdiction.
  • Oversee the construction of client sites and monitor schedules.
  • Monitor code compliance with local building and city codes.

Network Interconnection

RCI provides a number of unparalleled network interconnection services, including interconnection, backhauling and management of telco charges.

Interconnection

Type Trunks:
Identify existing facility types and evaluate the effectiveness of their application for specialized trunking and direct trunking to other wireless companies (Type 1, Type 2, Feature Groups).

Utilization:
Verify and provide input data for trunk capacities and utilization. Use best engineering practices to ensure trunk utilization and eliminate under-used trunk groups by providing effective dial plans.

Long Distance:
Evaluate and recommend long distance traffic plans and processes for implementation. Work with long distance providers to provide low cost routing and rate plans.

Backhauling

Network Configuration:
Provide a network configuration plan that validates current network elements and all proposed changes to maximize network efficiency and effectiveness.

Microwave versus Telco:
Provide cost analysis on telco versus M/W build out for backhaul.

Telco Charges

Circuit Requirement:
Identify all circuits associated with local operations and evaluate requirements. Perform analysis focusing on duplicate, underutilized and/or abandoned circuits.

Audit:
Provide end-to-end element cost audit for all trunking and backhaul charges. Verify the accuracy and proper application of contracted tariffs by transport carriers. Negotiate individual case (ICB) studies as required.

RF Engineering

Network Site Design

  • Develop coverage objectives with clients engineering and marketing groups.
  • Conduct drive tests to determine local propagation characteristics.
  • Attend field visits with site acquisition personnel.
  • Represent the client at land use planning or community meetings.

Network Performance
  • Work with the client's traffic analysis information, Erlang tables, propagation plots, and marketing data, to optimize existing networks.
  • Utilize existing client data management tools to prepare and review daily network performance reports.
